Solar films can be an effective and inexpensive solution to a range of different problems. The solar film is applied to your existing glazing, glass doors or polycarbonate roofing by one of our approved fitters. Installation is carried out at a convenient time, efficiently and with a minimum amount of disruption.
There are a wide range of solar films, from reflective mirrored film to a large variety of coloured tints. These films will help reduce solar heat gain, and drastically reduce the problems of glare on computer screens and within expensive control rooms etc. On application of these films, the external appearance of your building is also enhanced, as well as making life more comfortable for those inside.
Conservatory's can be an effective heat trap, as are factory rooflights. As the sun beats down during the summer months, temperatures can sore to unbearable heights, making life inside uncomfortable for you, your family, your staff and even you plants!.
Until recently, there has been no effective answer to this problem. The old solution was to install roller and pleated blinds. However, these can attract dust and insects, meanwhile the sun still penetrates through the fabric and reaches unacceptable levels.
An installation of ‘CoolKote’ film prevents the heat from building up under polycarbonate roofs by reflecting the suns heat and ensuring heat transfer does not occur. On application by a G.P.S. approved fitter, immediate reductions in daytime temperatures will be achieved and noticed by those inside.
